Tesla's latest recall this week covers 30,000 Model X vehicles for front passenger airbag problems. According to Reuters, some Model X vehicles have a problem that prevents the front passenger airbags from properly inflating. The airbag issue is very serious as it compromises safety and a misfire can seriously injure someone.

The good news is that Tesla says they haven't seen any reports of accidents, injuries or deaths related to this problem. The company will fix the problem with an over-the-air software update.

Tesla's latest recall covers 321,000 vehicles without taillights. According to Reuters, "In a statement released to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Saturday, the electric automaker's recall related to taillights will apply to 2023 Model 3 and 2020-2023 Model Y vehicles."

As with the airbags, Tesla plans to release an airbag update that will fix the taillight issue. The company was made aware of the problem after Tesla filed a customer complaint in October. Most of the complaints about this car come from foreign markets. The company received three warranty reports for broken taillights.
