High on Life begins with a meta-tutorial that takes you through the fictional video game Buck Thunder II: Xenoslaughter before switching to the "real world" in the prologue. When aliens invade your area, you find a talking alien weapon and are forced to flee the planet to escape the G3 Cartel.
This guide will walk you through the High on Life walkthrough, including how to access the secret walkthrough message and give you instructions on how to complete the prologue.

When you launch Buck Thunder II: Xenoslaughter, you'll select a difficulty level before entering the tutorial to learn its basic movement mechanics, including how to jump, crouch, and shoot.
Follow the instructions on the screen and you will enter a large room filled with enemies. Defeat the waves of enemies and you'll eventually hear a precious voice and exit the game to complete the tutorial.
Tour the Secret Zone
High on Life is full of weird surprises and that doesn't stop you from learning if you're quick enough. To get to the secret training area, follow the initial bypass guide to get to the main combat area shown above. From the door, immediately go into the room on the left and ignore all the enemies standing in your way.
In this room you will find a ramp bathed in green light. Quickly go down the ramp and crouch into the vent shaft as shown in the image below.
Inside the rooms you will find a secret message. You'll be stuck in an air duct for the rest of the lesson, so wait and your sister will soon kick you out of the game. .
For a second chance to see the hidden message, reload the last checkpoint BEFORE exiting the fake game. If you see your sister, you won't be able to see the surprise unless you start a new save file.

After training, your sister will come into your room for a quick chat, and you'll choose your character's appearance from a pre-selected list. Explore the house as long as you want, then go to the kitchen.
Read the note mom left on the fridge and then go meet your sister. Three aliens suddenly appear in his driveway and after smoking their neighbor Mr. Pilfrey, one of the aliens is shot dead by his partner and the rest leave.
Approach the corpse of an alien and remove his weapon. After a brief introduction to Gatlian , Kenny walks down the street and kills the G3 soldiers running from the alien ship. Head towards the boat and go up to the second floor where the soldiers will be waiting for you.
Leave them and take a drive before you go home. Grab the car from the kitchen and you'll go to Blim City .
In search of the Zaruthian gene
Exit the house and search Blim City for former bounty hunter Gene Zarutian . While you can talk to many of the aliens in the city to get information on Jin's whereabouts, only a few will have valuable information. Fortunately, Jin is not far away and is sitting on a podium bench in front of his house.
Talk to Jin, and after a few conversations, you'll wear a reward suit. Unfortunately, the prize dress is still in trial mode, so you have to go to Mr. Keep's hamper shop to activate the dress.
Go to Mr. Kip's pawn shop
Use your suit scanner to create a waypoint that leads to Mr. Keep's barrier shop, which is northeast of your current location.
Please note that waypoints do not always lead to the right place. In these cases, navigate to the current point, then use the information scanner again to find the next point.

When you go to the pawn shop, talk to Mr.Keeps to fully activate the reward seed. Now go home to meet Jin, who already feels at home. When the conversation ends, interact with the Bounty-5k (the giant machine that Jin installed in the living room) and the prologue will end there.
