If you don't use the Kevin Bacon method for roasting marshmallows, you're wrong.
According to the Footloose star , there's a right way to do things when it comes to making the perfect sticky marshmallows, and she flawlessly showed off her technique in her latest social media post.
In a new video posted to Instagram Friday night, Bacon, 64, gave his followers a lesson on how to roast the perfect marshmallows, which he says includes the perfect ratio of crisp-to-brittle.
Can we talk about marshmallows? The music video began. “Just a spoonful of sugar, but there’s a sense of accomplishment in baking it perfectly.”
In the clip, you can see the actor preparing to hold large marshmallows on a roasting stick as he approaches an open fire. “I like to use fire gloves. Is it too high-tech?” he asked the camera.
“Here I am rolling it over the coals, trying to get the perfect fluffy interior as well as the crunchy golden brown exterior,” he continued, checking to see if his masterpiece was still ready before deciding to give it a little more time. .
"I think my phone is going to melt," she joked, and revealed her secret advice: "Never let it catch fire."
"It gets better," she said, moments before the marshmallow was ready. “To avoid ending up in the emergency room, take some time to cool down, because hot sugar will burn the urine off your face.”
After taking a bite of the candy, Bacon exclaimed, "Yeah. Hmmm. Shit. It was amazing."

“Let's talk about marshmallows. I think there's a right way and wrong way to roast them, but that's just me, looking for the perfect golden brown,” she playfully captioned the video. "If you need it, I'll be by the fire."
He also used the hashtag "#cookwithbacon", a variation on the oft-used phrase "#goatsongs", referring to a video of Angel Bacon singing with his beloved goat.
