Tired of spending all day on a conference call? Long meetings that can go on forever? I understand. Microsoft thinks the same way. The company launched the Games for Work app integrated with Microsoft Teams.

Nicole Herskovits, vice president of Microsoft Teams, said playing with colleagues can foster relationships and collaboration as people compete to build trust, strengthen bonds and build friendships. According to a Brigham Young University study, teams that engaged in quick games were 20 percent more productive than those that engaged in more traditional team-building activities.
Microsoft developed Casual Games, Xbox Game Studio, Games for Work apps. Microsoft Icebreakers, Wordament, Minesweeper and Solitaire are interactive casual games with multiplayer connectivity for 2 to 250 players. The games listed above are rated E and work well but have no ads After you add the app to Teams, you and your colleagues can start playing on your desktop or mobile device. There is a caveat regarding the Games for Work app. It can only be installed if you use Microsoft Teams Enterprise or Education.
